Submit a Proposal
Submit a proposal on-chain with Tally
To submit a proposal on-chain using Tally, you must have an Ethereum wallet address that represents at least 1000 tokens (about 0.1% of votable tokens / circulating supply).
NOTE: If you don't have enough tokens to submit an on-chain proposal yourself, consider delegating your tokens to a delegate who can create a proposal on your behalf.
To submit your proposal on Tally:
Log in to Tally using the wallet that represents the KITE tokens.
Navigate to the "explore DAOs" section or click on "My DAOs" within your Tally profile and select HAI Governance's page.
Select "Create new proposal."
Choose which governor you are targeting:
HAI Core: For Constitutional Proposals
HAI Treasury: For non-Constitutional Proposals
Give the proposal a name and description (a preview image is optional).
Ensure that you’re submitting the correct type of proposal to the right DAO page in Tally.
Add proposal actions to be executed if passed. For example, "transfer n HAI to 0x address."
Preview your proposal and either save it as a draft or submit on-chain.
A proposal passes if two conditions are met:
More votes are cast in favor than against.
The total number of votes cast in favor is at least the following percentage of the votable tokens:
25% for an RFS HIP.
3% for a standard HIP.
If a proposal passes, the proposal’s actions will be executed on-chain (after a brief delay). If the proposal doesn’t pass, but there's interest in improving and resubmitting it, refer here for how to resubmit your proposal. This governance protocol is evolving, and your feedback is essential. If you have any questions or concerns, visit the HAI Governance forum or Discord.
