Become a Delegate

Become a delegate on Tally

To become a delegate, create a profile on Tally and build your delegate platform profile.

To help voters learn more about you, submit a delegate statement using the template provided in the HAI Governance forum.

Before committing to become a delegate in HAI DAO, it is essential to understand the responsibilities and expectations of the role. Follow these guidelines to ensure you are prepared to be a delegate:

  1. Active Participation: Delegates are expected to actively participate in the decision-making process and act in the best interests of the network. Familiarize yourself with The Constitution of the HAI Governance and all relevant documents to understand delegated responsibilities and the operational mechanisms of the HAI Governance.

  2. Understanding the Protocol: Review the comprehension check to assess your understanding of the HAI Governance protocol. Ensure you have a solid foundational technical understanding of the HAI protocol and a broader understanding of the Ethereum ecosystem.

  3. Building a Strong Delegate Platform: Prepare to build a compelling delegate platform that highlights your qualifications, experience, and vision for the HAI Governance. This platform should demonstrate your understanding of the protocol and address the most pressing challenges faced by the community

  4. Delegate Statement: Submit a delegate statement using the provided template in the delegate application thread. Although delegate applications are not required after the airdrop, the template serves as a standardized way for community members to learn about your qualifications and platform.

Being a delegate is a significant responsibility that requires a deep commitment. Delegates should possess a strong technical understanding of the HAI protocol and of HAI Governance, a comprehensive knowledge of the Ethereum ecosystem, and a genuine desire to actively engage with the growing and evolving HAI community. Please visit the HAI Governance forum or Discord for further discussion if you have any questions or concerns.
