# Signal for Support

Signaling for support on discord

When planning to present a proposal to the HAI community, if you're unsure of whether or not your proposal will be received well, beginning an open discussion and signaling for support / review is a good way to check if you're on the right track, and improve your idea via feedback.

1. Go to the HAI [Discord](https://discord.com/invite/pX8m6zXNKu) and locate the relevant channel.
2. Inform the HAI community of your intentions and see if you can get buy-in from other community members. 
3. Whether or not you use the feedback you receive during this phase for your proposal is up to you.
