Before an HIP is submitted on-chain, an informal draft of the proposal is submitted to the HAI Governance forum for community discussion and debate. A discourse poll accompanies these forum submissions to gauge the community's interest in the proposal. Here's how you can participate in the informal temperature check phase of HAI Governance:

Locate the proposal you'd like to vote on, and review the proposal and the discussion thread.
Provide feedback and engage in the discussion to help shape the proposal.
The forum submission will include a link to a discourse poll where you can vote on the proposal.
Cast your vote:
Connect your wallet.
Open the HAI Governance discourse space and locate the proposal you'd like to vote on.
Cast your vote following the prompts in Discourse's user interface.
